Merchandising Administration Assistant

We have an exciting new opportunity for a graduate to join the Ollie&Nic team at our head Office in Reigate, Surrey.
 
Key responsibilities are as follows:

• Competently allocating new and existing stock lines to stores so that sales are maximised and stock is replenished
• Working alongside the  merchandiser completing any ad-hoc sales analysis/ reporting needed for meetings
• Working effectively as a team player; offering a personal opinion when asked and joining in to team discussions
• Competently communicating problems with other team members and director level.
• Controlling stock from the time it arrives in the Distribution Centre (DC) right through to it arriving into store
• Creating reports on Best and Worst Sellers/ Sales / Critical path
• Co-ordinating deliveries and ensuring all orders are chased and delivered on time
• Transferring stock around the stores to maximise sales wherever possible
• Initiating, participating and following up regular store visits to highlight any shortfalls / overstocks
• Participate in regular Warehouse visits demonstrating an awareness of current issues
• Act as a key contact point for store queries, reviewing weekly store and product performance
• Act as a key contact for all customer service related queries – ensuring that customer problems are solved effectively and efficiently to maximise satisfaction

 
Person Requirements:

• Educated to degree level ideally with an internship from a buying and merchandising head office
• Strong numerical and analytical skills
• Possess solid experience within a retail environment
• Excellent Customer Service skills
• Basic computer knowledge in word, excel and outlook
• Demonstrate effective interpersonal and communication skills to all levels
• Ability to work as a part of a team and on own initiative
• Personable with a love for fashion and accessories!
• Flexibility
