Flapjacks, why not!?

Quick, Easy & Delicious

Now, I've never been a super baker but I thought it's about time to give it a go! As much as I enjoy cake and would love to make a Victoria Sponge, I've had too much recently, so instead we went for flapjacks. They're super quick, easy & incredibly delicious. All you need is these 5 staple ingredients:

- 120g Rolled Oats

- 60g Soft Butter

- 60g Brown Sugar

- 2tsp of Maple Syrup

- Chocolate Chips (optional)

This was enough for 10 servings once cut from our tray.

Step 1: Pre-heat oven to 200°C

Step 2: Pour the Oats, Sugar, Soft Butter, Maple Syrup & Chocolate Chips into a large mixing bowl and mix until fully combined!

Step 3: Line a baking tray with grease proof paper, we didn't have any in the house so we used some aluminium foil which works just as well.

Step 4: Pour the flapjack mixture into your baking tray and push down with the back of a spoon. Pop in the oven, and cook for 10 minutes until golden brown.

Step 5: Enjoy!
